The Wickenheiser World Female Hockey Festival, hosted by Remodel It TV, will welcome teams to Calgary, Alberta in its 4th year of this spectacular event.

 

The Festival is an event where young women can engage in world-class competition; make friends from around the world; improve their hockey skills and learn from one of the world's best - Hayley Wickenheiser - who is involved in all aspects of the on and off-ice event for the duration.

Over the course of four days, over 1,200+ players compete and connect while building positive female hockey experiences across all levels.

Wickenheiser Female World Hockey Festival makes move to Calgary

CALGARY, Alta. – WinSport is proud to announce today a partnership with one of the top female hockey players of all time, Hayley Wickenheiser, to bring the Wickenheiser World Female Hockey Festival to Calgary. The Wickenheiser tournament, which has been held in Burnaby, B.C., for the past three years will feature 60 female teams from across the country battling for women’s hockey supremacy for girls of all ages. The tournament will take place Nov. 21-24, 2013, with WinSport`s Markin MacPhail Centre providing the central location for games and off-ice events.

Olympic Heroes and Sport Legends Teach and Inspire - Final Results

Burnaby, B.C. played host to over 1,200 young women as they came together for the third annual Wickenheiser International Women’s Hockey Festival. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to compete and learn from the some of the most elite athletes, sports personalities and trainers in the world took place from November 18 - November 21 at Burnaby 8 Rinks in British Columbia.

The 2012 rendition of The Wickenheiser International Women's Hockey Festival is gearing up to take over the Burnaby 8 Rinks from November 15th to November 18th for the third consecutive year.
